This is the story of the forty days after Jesus’ resurrection and His ascension into heaven taking the saints of paradise with Him. I am looking forward to watching Mel Gibson’s 2 new movies about this time period with Jim Caviezel as Jesus. The Passion of Christ was so powerful just as The Chosen series is as well. They help us see Jesus in ways we haven’t experienced and they help us restrain our religious spirit by forgiving and letting go of things that may not fit our view and bias about the Bible. In the appendix of No Greater Love I ask readers to run with what God the Holy Spirit illuminates as true since there are no claims of inerrancy! Shift the wheat and take home the grain but blow away in grace the chaff!!! Someday we will all stand before the Judgment Seat of Christ where He will show us in living color how all of us had some error in our “Theology”.
These 40 days are a powerful testimony to the validity of Jesus’ resurrection, to seeing a glimpse of how we will have bodies with the same capabilities as He has, and to again exhort us to spread His Truth and the Gospel to everyone we engage in this life.
